I’ll be honest—I never gave much thought to how clean my feet actually were in the shower.
Like most people, I just assumed that as long as the soap and water ran down my body, my feet were fine. But then I stumbled across something that made me stop and think:
Feet Are One of the Dirtiest Parts of Your Body—And Most People Don’t Wash Them Properly
Did you know your feet can carry over 100 different types of bacteria? And that showering without actively scrubbing them leaves behind sweat, dead skin, and even fungus?
I sure didn’t.
That would explain why, no matter how clean I thought I was, my feet still had dry skin, occasional odour, and that weird sticky feeling after wearing shoes all day.
I figured I should do something about it. I tried using a cheap plastic foot brush, but it felt rough, got mouldy fast, and let’s be real—I didn’t want to be crouching down and awkwardly scrubbing my feet every day.
Then I found something that completely changed my routine.
